Jul Wiggins X THE MADRID THEATER

Jul Wiggins is a non-binary movement artist based in Los Angeles, California. Raised near Seattle, Washington, they attended Cornish College of the Arts, from which they graduated in May 2020 with their BFA degree in dance. Jul has had the privilege of studying with and performing works by dance artists such as Stephanie Zaletel, Kate Wallich, Wade Madsen, and Bruno Roque. After graduation, Jul relocated to Los Angeles to continue pursuing dance and meaningful connections.

Jul uses improvisation and sometimes text to create the majority of their movement and they are interested in making contemporary dance and installation-based work that emerges from a place of exploration, collaboration, and mindful movement practices.
