STEPHANIE dai X BARNSDALL GALLERY THEATER

Stephanie Dai is an LA-based dancer, choreographer, and visual artist. An inaugural graduate of the USC Kaufman School of Dance, she has worked closely with choreographers such as Micaela Taylor, the JA Collective, and Barak Marshall in the performing and staging of their works. Her distinct movement style has also led to performance opportunities with artists such as CL, Porter Robinson, Julia Stone, NIKKI, Solange, and 88RISING. With her own work, she hopes to celebrate the potential for awe and aesthetic appreciation in the everyday - drawing from both Eastern and Western mythoi to create story-driven, interdisciplinary pieces.
